Technical Support Specialist

We have a job opening and are looking for you if…

You have 3-5 years’ experience supporting current Microsoft products, Desktops, Servers, Microsoft 365, and Security in a business environment.

You have Passion for Technology and a desire to learn more.

You enjoy working with various people  and helping them be comfortable with the changes in technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients in the resolution of technical issues either remotely or face-to-face at local customer sites from 8:00am – 5:00pm Mon- Fri
  • Technical issues may be infrastructure (desktops, servers, network devices etc.) or cloud, Azure, Microsoft 365, etc...
  • Accurately create and maintain documentation, complying with service administrative procedures, including service tickets, time entries and timesheets
  • Help clients create and maintain their technology roadmap based on their company goals
  • As a representative of Pratt Computing, promote and maintain client relationships through high standards of professionalism, personal appearance, ethical behavior and maturity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of previous Microsoft technical support experience in a business environment required *MSP experience preferred
  • Experience supporting desktops, Servers (2016 and above), Office/Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, firewalls and network devices.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies.
  • Effective and professional verbal/written communications to a business audience and peers.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to and from Client’s sites/Pratt’s office, will be compensated for use of your car.
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • You must be able to pass a background check.
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. and maneuver steps.
