With the STAR Basic profile you gain a better perspective of your business plans, clearly see how to better use your current technology, and create a roadmap to be used as your technology plan over the next few years. The roadmap also includes a “Guerrilla Style” strategic business development plan that connects business goals with the technology plan.

STAR Basic Profile is a great way to gain insight into how your IT is functioning and to gain perspective on potential profitability benefits of implementing certain technology solutions in your business.

Our STAR Premium provides all of the features of STAR Basic but also probes deeper into your network to create an inventory and show strengths and potential vulnerabilities of your network.  The network information is more detailed and can be used as an ongoing detailed inventory.  STAR Premium can uncover weaknesses in your technology that no one knows about. It also can save time and money in preparing for a major upgrade by identifying components on the network that need to be addressed before an upgrade can be successfully completed. 

Phase One: The Interviews

The interviews are generally held at your site. The first interview, which is relatively short, is with the CEO, Owner or Managing Partner to do a complete business assessment. Areas covered include short and long-term strategic goals, objectives, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities threats and various current processes. The next interview is with your IT manager or the person most familiar with your technology. This in-depth review includes your IT infrastructure, security, networking and communication. The amount of time required depends on the complexity of your organization. The interview time is shorter if we are performing the STAR Premium Profile.

Phase Two: The Inventory (STAR Premium)

If we are performing the STAR Premium Profile, we will use the necessary tools to probe the entire network and assemble critical information about every accessible component on the network.

Phase Three: The Analysis

The engineers and consultants of Pratt Computing compile the information from the first two phases and overlay the current technology profile with the business assessment results. We look at results to find improvements in the areas of Efficiency, Productivity and Profitability, focused on making your business run Faster, Better and Smarter.

Phase Four: The Results

You will receive a detailed report from Pratt Computing Technologies on the status of your current network as it relates to your Business Assessment. The report will include any recommendation about how to better use your current technology or any possible upgrades over the next few years. Another component of the report is the “Guerrilla Style” strategic business development plan. With this, we use the concepts of Guerrilla Marketing to combine data from both the technology and business assessments to create a business development plan.   

With the STAR Premium, you will also receive a detailed report with critical information about network components. This will include recommendations based on previously discussed objectives and any discovered weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
